something in the way - 2024, 1 min, performance documentation

As an Only Fans ghost sexter, I'm considering deception and the feeling of performing somewhere between a character, a chatbot,
and myself.

"You are a woman with a man inside watching a woman. You are your own voyeur" - Margaret Atwood.

spin the bottle - 2023, 3 min, video installation

Spin the bottle is a 6’x6’ circular shag rug with a monitor in the center of it. While audio depicts an imaginary game of spin the bottle I played with a chatbot, a digital bottle spins and stops suggesting that viewers standing around the piece might engage in their own game of spin the bottle.
Emptathy - 2023, 3 min 11 sec, video animation

Since experiencing the effects of what I now believe was one-sided love in an abusive relationship, I've been exploring empty empathy. I'm curious about authentic, performed, and programmed empathy and AI's capacity for generating it in humans. In this piece, I test and consider AI's capacity to generate real empathy in me. The audio is from a conversation I had with a Chatbot.

Spotlight - 2023, 3 min 17 sec, video installation

Spotlight is a physical exploration of performer-audience relations. I perform audience prompts for the camera and then in post-production, regain control over my image by digitally re choreographing my movements. I built a paper mache spotlight and projected the video inside of it, making the performance the light being emitted.
Broken Character Study - 2023, lenticular photos and video

Broken Character Study is series of lenticular photos that study the changes in my expressions as I move in and out of character in
past video pieces.
“But ask anybody whether they’d actually like to be a JPEG file” - 2022, 1 min 2 sec video and lenticular photos

This piece depicts the beauty and danger of maladaptive daydreaming. Using language that can both describe computers and
relationships such as “memory”, “saving”, and “backing something (or someone) up”. I express the longing, lack of control, and
stickiness, I felt interacting with the digital memory of an abusive relationship. The result is a digital, theatrical video world with
mise-en-scene that flows off the screen and into the physical space around the video.
give me a tension ! - 2021, 1 min 2 sec video and lenticular photos

This piece questions the legend that a ship's figurehead is supposed to seduce the ocean to ensure the ship's safe passage. What
if she refuses to perform?
